Solar wind-Magnetosphere coupling
The purpose of WP 1300 Solar wind-Magnetosphere coupling is to investigate the magnetosphere as a complex system composed of different plasma regions, pervaded by large scale currents systems, interplaying continuously under the driving of Solar perturbations. In this WP the coordinated study of in situ plasma and fields measurements and of ground-based observations of geospace parameters will be used to improve our knowledge of the magnetospheric response during SWE events.
